Meghan Hays made 12 kills, Molly Mitchell 10, Jasmine Nelson seven and Rachel Neiss five for the Sting (5-10). Nelson aced four serves and Ellie Rogers three. Rogers made 21 assists. [...]

The Spectrum Sting lost to Mayer Lutheran 1-0 at home on Monday. Brenna Larson scored the game’s lone goal in the first half for the Crusaders (4-8-1). The Sting (2-11) will close the regular season hosting International School on Thursday.

Spectrum  dropped a home match to  Cambridge Christian 27-25, 25-16, 25-14 on Thursday evening. Maddie Hays notched 6 aces, Rachel Neiss 4 kills and 2 aces, and Jasmine Nelson 2 aces, 2 kills and 4 digs, for the Sting (1-4). They will host St. Croix Prep next Thursday.

The Spectrum volleyball team lost to North Lakes Academy 16-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-18 on Thursday evening after a strong start. Meghan Hays led the Sting (1-4) with five aces, three kills and two blocks. Ellie Rogers contributed four aces, five assists and one dig. The Sting will play at PACT Charter on Saturday.

The Hylanders, described as “relentless” by Sting coach Tex Cuablo, prevailed 16-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.
