A trucker attempting to make a turn from Twin Lakes Road onto 209th Avenue felt his trailer lose traction, which in turn, slowly tipped his semi and trailer onto its side about 1 p.m. on Monday, March 4 in Elk River.
The 58-year-old Circle Pines man had been traveling north on Twin Lakes Road attempting to turn left to go west  when he lost 17 yards of common dirt that spilled onto the roadway. No injuries were reported from the driver, the lone occupant of the semi-tractor. There was, however, damage to the passenger side of the semi-tractor and the trailer. Collins Brothers righted semi-tractor and trailer and the  Minnesota State HIghway Patrol inspected vehicle at scene.
