The Bank of Elk River has donated $14,000 to support several Elk River Parks and  Recreation 2012 community events. As in prior years, the bank will be the exclusive sponsor of the Riverfront Concert Series, Kidstock, Chalk It Up and the Elk River Farmers Market, according to Elk River Parks and Recreation Director Michael Hecker. The Elk River City Council has passed a resolution ackowledging The Bank of Elk River’s contributions to parks and recreation events.
