County recognizes St. Andrew’s youth

The St. Andrew Catholic School community gathered last Saturday morning for its annual Minnesota Marathon for Nonpublic Education.
The group braved 50-degree blustery weather to walk together around Lions Park in Elk River, then shared a meal hosted by the St. Andrew Knights of Columbus.
St. Andrew Catholic School is one of more than 150 schools across Minnesota that participate in a “marathon” to raise awareness about the option of Catholic education. It is a major fundraiser for the school year.
