  The Rogers Royals lost to the Buffalo Bison 2-0 at home on Tuesday evening. Jordan Skarin scored on a free kick from 40 yards and Sarah Brainerd scored on a shot from about 30yards for Buffalo (3-1-1 conference, 4-4-2 overall) Rogers (3-2 conference, 3-6-1 overall) will host St. Michael-Albertville on Thursday.

Jenna Trochlil delivered the lone goal as the Rogers Royals stymied the Monticello Magic 1-0 at home on Thursday. The Rogers girls soccer team  lost its conference opener to St. Michael-Albertville 2-0 on Tuesday in St. Michael. Maddie Barr and Jess Johnson scored for the Knights (3-0-1) and MiCale Jensen in goal made 10 saves.The Royals (0-3-1 overall) will play at Cambridge-Isanti on Thursday at 5 p.m.

The Rogers girls soccer team lost to Totino-Grace 1-0 on Tuesday in Fridley, falling to 0-2. The lone goal was scored by Eagle freshman Nicole Newman midway through the second half. T-G goalie Gabby Eisfelder stopped five shots. Next for Rogers is the conference opener at STMA on Sept. 6.
