Michelle Klimstra made 50 saves as the Rogers Royals sprang a nice upset Tuesday, handing No. 4 ranked Orono a 3-1 loss at home. Mound-Westonka handed the Rogers Royals a 3-0 loss on Friday evening on the White Hawks’  ice. Jessica Nkhata, Jori Mazurek, and Abby Brustad scored for Mound-Westonka (13-6-1) which had only  a 31-30 edge in shots. Rogers (6-12-4) was 0-for-6 on power plays. The Royals will play at Cambridge-Isanti on Friday.

The Rogers girls were on the short end of a  7-0 score against North Wright County at home Tuesday evening. Dani Sibley had two goals and three assists, and Maddi Sjelin two goals and two assists, for NWC (4-0 conference, 14-3-1 overall).
