The Elk River wrestlers lost to Forest Lake 43-27 in the first round of Section 7AAA on Friday in Blaine. Winning for the Elks were Jake Staffenhagen, Eric Stevens and Jory Lubinski by pins, and  Holton Lubinski, Abe Williams and Kyle Wiemann by decision. Williams went overtime.
