Dodge Street Bandits returns for Fourth of July encore

Members of the Elk River Independence Day Committee hope red, white and blue firecrackers light a fire under members of the community, as they work to raise more than $20,000 for a fireworks show and program. The Elk River Economic Development Authority has kicked in $6,000, and close to another $2,000 has been raised so far in the community from organizations, businesses and citizens.
