The Elk River 2011 Independence Day Committee is closing in on our goal to raise $20,000 for an awesome 4th of July event, but we need the help of citizens like you. Members of citizen-led committee want to see at least a $15,000 fireworks show at th every least match the success of last year's show They have distributed donation containers to the following businesses, which have graciously agreed to put them out for us. Feel free to drop off a donation at one of the participating local banks and restaurants. One $20 donation covers the average cost of a fireworks launch. Look for the Donation container marked for the Celebration.
