The Democratic-led House on Thursday (May 9) in a bipartisan vote approved marriage legislation legalizing same-sex marriage in Minnesota.
It was indeed a historical day at the Minnesota State Capitol on Thursday, May 9, as remembrances of demonstrations of the 1960s were revived with support and opposition to right to marry legislation.
