The Elk River Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 16 in the 1400 block of Main Street in Elk River. A detached garage was fully engulfed. All occupants were able to safely evacuate the structure. The cause remains under investigation. Mutual aid assistance was received from Big Lake and Zimmerman.
