Jonathan Christie has been hired as a police officer in Elk River. He took the oath of office during Monday’s Elk River City Council meeting. Christie is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and has been a member of the Elk River Police Reserves. He replaces Officer Brynell Stewart, who has resigned.
