The Elk River girls placed fifth among 14 teams in a Duluth East tournament won by Stillwater on Friday. Sadie Martin scored 82, Ashley Lindeen 86, Samantha Lindeen  89, Morgan Blehl 95 and Alex McDonald 95. Next for the Elks is the conference tournament Friday at Bunker Hills.
