Steve Tillmann has been honored for 30 years of service with the City of Elk River. He currently is the assistant liquor operations manager. He purchases all wine for the city’s two stores and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Northbound Liquor. Mayor John Dietz recognized him at Monday’s Elk River City Council meeting.
Three people have filed for Elk River city offices so far. The candidate filing period is May 20 to June 3. Those filing as of today are John Dietz, mayor; Garrett Christianson, council member Ward 1; and Paul Motin council member Ward 4. Dietz and Motin are incumbents. Christianson is running for the council seat now held by Stewart Wilson.
Jennifer Wagner has announced she will run for the Ward 4 seat on the Elk River City Council. Paul Motin currently holds the seat. He announced in April he plans to run for re-election. Filings open May 20 and close June 3 for Ward 1 and Ward 3 seats as well as for Elk River [...]
