The Elk River beat Armstrong 62-51 there Tuesday evening, led by Porter Morrell with 16 points. The Elks (11-6 conference, 16-7 overall) earned a split with the Falcons (9-8 conference, 14-9 overall). Armstrong won 81-78 in Elk River on Jan. 15. The Elks will host Maple Grove on Friday evening.
