Three people have filed for Elk River city offices so far. The candidate filing period is May 20 to June 3. Those filing as of today are John Dietz, mayor; Garrett Christianson, council member Ward 1; and Paul Motin council member Ward 4. Dietz and Motin are incumbents. Christianson is running for the council seat now held by Stewart Wilson.
