Elk River Mayor John Dietz’s monthly meeting at the Elk River American Legion has been cancelled for October. It was to be held Oct. 6 but will not be held due to a candidates forum scheduled for that day. The mayor’s next regularly-scheduled meeting at the Legion will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.
I believe the American Legion is an asset to our community. Do you realize that there are men and women who gather together every Saturday just to socialize?
