The Elk River boys soccer team’s season ended with a 3-0 loss to Moorhead on the Spuds field on Thursday in the Section 8AA opener. Nicholas Nguyen had two goals and an assist for Moorhead. Elk River, seeded No. 6, finished with a 4-11-1 record.
