Esmeralda Langbehn has been named Elk River’s Volunteer of the Month for March. She volunteers in the first and third grade classes at Meadowvale Elementary and with Troops 14278, 13952 and 11030/11547. Langbehn also does volunteer work with Elk River High School softball and basketball booster clubs and with the high school’s year end committee. [...]

Dave Anderson has been re-elected chair of the Elk River Parks and Recreation Commission for 2014. Mark Ahlness was re-elected vice chair. They were chosen in a vote by the commission on March 12.
