Rogers man named to Minnesota Department of Public Safety Motorcycle Safety Advisory Task Force

A Rogers man has been appointed to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Motorcycle Safety Advisory Task Force.

David Nei was one of 15 appointments or reappointments to the panel made by Public Safety Commissioner Mona Dohman. David Weeres, of Clearwater, was one of the reappointments.

Terms run through June 30, 2019.

The Motorcycle Safety Advisory Task Force advises the Department of Public Safety on motorcycle safety issues and operation of the Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Program. The goal is improving the safety of motorcycle riders and their passengers.

The task force will focus on three areas: motorcycle rider training, motorcycle rider testing and licensing, and public information and media relations.
