NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING

The Elk River Planning Commission acting as the Board of Adjustments will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, 6:30 p.m., at Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway to consider a request by John Norgren on behalf of Emmanuel Lutheran Church for a variance to exceed the maximum allowed impervious surface and to allow existing structures to remain in the Elk River/Lake Orono Drainage District Case No. V 17-04.

General description of the subject property is south of 5th Street and north of Main Street (1506 Main Street NW). Legal description of the subject property is that part of Lot 24, AUDITORS SUBDIVISION NO. 3; PART OF Lot 8, Block 4 THOMAS ADDITION; Lot 7 and South 74.4 ft. of Lots 7, 9 and 10, Block 4, THOMASS ADDITION; Lots 5 and 6, Block 4, THOMASS ADDITION; part of Lots 8, 9 10 and 11, Block 4, THOMASS ADDITION, Sherburne County, MN. If the Board of Adjustments denies the request or an appeal is made by any interested party by August 4, 2017, the application will automatically be forwarded to the City Council for consideration. That meeting will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.
