Michael was born in Davenport, Iowa on January 5, 1955 to Ruskin A. Lack and Theresa M. Darkendwald. Mike moved to Chanhassen, MN in 1970 with his family. Mike spent most of his life in Elk River, MN where he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with his best friend and companion “Tessie,” his German Shepard. Mike loved to cook and entertain, especially around a football or basketball game. Mike was a hard worker in construction, who spent most of his career on the road across the United States.
He is survived by his two children, daughter Nicki Lack and son Jason Lack; brother Ruskin Lack (Barbara); brother Mark Lack (Miriam); sister Lynn Martinez; brother John Lack (Pricilla); brother David Lack; brother Steve Lack (Monica); sister Mary Herrera (Miguel); brother Tom Lack (Ronelle); a good friend and mother of his kids, Stephanie Conte; along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Mass will be held in Michael’s honor on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11 a.m., St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 18380 Columbus St., Dayton, MN.
