Police report: A driver ‘all over the road,’ a stolen pink ATV and a drunk stranger behind the wrong wheel

‘All over the road’ driver is arrested
Described by a caller as being “all over the road,” a Coon Rapids man, 32, is facing charges.

The caller had reported the driver to police at 2:08 p.m. April 29 as the vehicle was near Highway 10 and Edison Street in Elk River.
Police located the vehicle and arrested the driver for controlled substance violations, DWI, driving after cancellation and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration, according to Elk River Police Capt. Bob Kluntz.
The man was booked into the Sherburne County Jail in Elk River. The vehicle was towed to the police department to be held for forfeiture.

Pink ATV worth $600 stolen from shed
A pink 110 cc gas-powered ATV was reported stolen April 26 from a shed in the 18000 block of Sunrise Circle in Elk River.
The ATV is worth approximately $600.

Drunk woman ends up in wrong vehicle
A woman called police after finding an intoxicated stranger sitting in her vehicle outside a home in the 800 block of Main Street in Elk River.
Police responded at 1:55 a.m. April 29 and found a 45-year-old Dent, Minn., woman sitting in the driver’s seat. The woman told police that she thought she was sitting in her friend’s vehicle. She had just left the bar and was walking to her father’s house. Police gave her a ride there, and her father agreed to watch her for the night.

Fire damages garage in Elk River
Fire has damaged an unattached garage in the 13000 block of 192 1/2 Lane in Elk River. The fire was reported at 1:57 p.m. April 26. Elk River Police and Fire departments responded to the scene.

Lost debit card falls into wrong hands
A Zimmerman woman reported losing her debit card at Beaudry Express in Elk River on April 28. The card was used fraudulently at the same business that day. Total loss is $48.

Police called to report of domestic
Police were called to a reported domestic at 10:50 p.m. April 28 in the 11000 block of 190th Lane. The victim reported that a man slapped her, tackled her and twisted her arm.
Police are looking for an Elk River man, 29, Kluntz said.
