Photo wins award

Lisa Tetzlaff, of Zimmerman, was hiking in Montana’s Glacier National Park last summer when she stopped to take a photo of an unusual looking plant. The photo, which Tetzlaff took with a Nikon camera, went on to win best of show in the botanical category in the 14th annual Monticello Photo Show in March.

photo-contest-tetzlaffThe plant was growing along the shore of Avalanche Lake. Tetzlaff said she hasn’t had any success identifying exactly what it is.

The Monticello Photo Show was put on by the Monticello Camera Club. Other winners were:
