Bike-a-thon aimed at sex trafficking

Running For Justice will have its first annual Running For Justice Bike-A-Thon on May 19 and 20, from Duluth to Elk River.
The purpose of the 150-mile ride is to raise awareness of sex trafficking and raise funds for Running For Justice.
Participants will leave from Duluth at the Thompson Hill Information Center and spend the night camping at a city park in Hinckley on May 19.
The ride will end at Living Waters Church in Elk River, where there will be a celebration May 20 with a 5 p.m. light supper and a speaker, Jessica Bartholemew. She is a former law enforcement officer who worked in the field of sex trafficking in Minneapolis. Bartholemew now has an organization called ACT United.
