Sue Wipf paintings featured in shows

Sue Wipf, of Rogers, has five of her paintings in two shows this spring.

“Active Skies,” an oil on linen panel painted on location at Lake Superior, is part of the Outdoor Painters of Minnesota Spring Salon at The Gallery @ Zeller in Hopkins. The Spring Salon will be showing through the end of May.

Four other Wipf paintings will be part of the Women Artists of the West “Spring Showcase” at RSHanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas.

This inaugural invitational spring showcase will be on display through June 3. Receptions are from 6-8 p.m. May 5 and June 2.

The Women Artists of the West “Spring Showcase” is a juried competition featuring approximately 275 paintings and sculptures from across the United States.

The Women Artists of the West is a salute to women in the fine arts and has been featured in several national magazines, according to RSHanna Gallery.

The Wipf paintings that are part of the exhibition are all oil on linen panels and include “Blooming Fields by the Round Barn,” “Spring Reflections,” “Japanese Garden” and “Garden Variety.”
