NorthStar Theatre will be performing “Hard Knock Life” from Nov. 25-Dec. 4 at the Elk River High School Little Theater.
The play has been written by Jeff Maas, of Champlin and Jamie Cassidy, Otsego. It is the continuing story of the orphans from the musical Annie, set in 1933 and 34.
“It’s a touching and sometimes humorous script that includes lots of historical detail,” according to the play’s director, Eileen Anderson. “The music is fabulous.”
The cost of tickets is $15 for children and $17 for adults. They can be purchased online at www.nstartheatre.org.
The show opens with a 7 p.m. performance on Nov. 25. There will be a mix of matinee and evening performances Nov. 25-27 and Nov. 1-4. For showtimes, visit www.nstartheatre.org.
