A Zimmerman woman is facing a drug possession charge, as well as other misdemeanor charges, following a traffic stop in Isanti County.
Tiffany Rivette Gross, 28, was charged before Judge Amy Brosnahan Sept. 2 in Isanti County District Court in Cambridge with gross misdemeanor fifth-degree drug possession and misdemeanors pharmacy (possession of hypodermic needles), driving with a suspended license and having an uninsured vehicle.
The case involves Gross being stopped around 1 a.m. Sept. 1 by law enforcement in the area of County Road 3 in Stanchfield. The vehicle caught the attention of law enforcement because it was traveling at a very low speed and had a faulty brake light. During a search of the vehicle, methamphetamine and other controlled substances were found in the vehicle.
