•Breakfast with St. Nicholas: 8:30-11:30. Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1506 Main St., Elk River. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Donations accepted. The event features a craft for children, a bake sale with homemade lefse, a drop box for Toys for Tots and pictures with Santa.
•Celebrate the Season in Zimmerman: Variety of events including a holiday boutique from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Nelson Nursery and Garden Center; professional photos with Santa, 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. (fee applies); horse-drawn trolley rides departing from Nelson Nursery, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Neighbors Helping Neighbors toy and food drive at Zimmerman Fire Station’s open house, 1-3 p.m.; tree-lighting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. with a bonfire; and Santa arriving on the fire truck at Second Street and Fremont.
•Christmas Tree Ornament Festival: 10 a.m. to noon, Sherburne History Center, 10775 27th Ave. SE, Becker. Santa will be there from 11 a.m. to noon. Other highlights include a performance by Command Performance Premiere, Prep, and Prima Choirs of Elk River, crafts, snacks and a fresh-cut Christmas tree door prize. Free.

Lions Breakfast with Santa: The Elk River Lions Club is hosting its annual Breakfast with Santa from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lions Park Center, 1104 Lions Park Dr., Elk River. There will be homemade buttermilk pancakes (plain, blueberry, chocolate chip and walnut). The cost is a free will offering at the door. All profits will go to Gifts Anonymous.
