Volleyball: Sting edge PACT in five games

Spectrum volleyball won a thriller against the PACT Panthers in front of a home crowd 27-25, 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 15-13 on Thursday.

All five games were close with the Sting winning the first two, losing the next two and finally closing out the match 15-13 in game five.

Defensive leaders were junior libero Costy Dalla Valentina with 27 digs and seniors Meghan Hays and Molly Mitchell with eight and five blocks, respectively (5 Blocks).

Hays also led with 11 Kills.  Setters were freshman Ellie Rogers (17 assists) and junior Maddie Hays (8 assists) who also both put all their serves in play.

The Sting (1-1) will host St. Croix Prep on Tuesday.
