Music of the legendary Man in Black is the next attraction in the Riverfront Concert Series as the Johnny Cash tribute group “Church of Cash” performs on the Riverfront stage in Elk River on Thursday, 7 p.m.

Jay Kalk, a Minnesota native who formed the group in Honolulu in 2010, is the voice of Johnny Cash.

The group’s web site states: “Whether you are an ol’ timer that grew up listening to Mr. Cash in your tractor or a young soldier driving your tank across the deserts of the Middle East with the Man in Black in your headphones, the Church of Cash will bring his music, with style and energy to fans everywhere.”

The Riverfront Concert Series is presented free of charge each Thursday, sponsored by The Bank of Elk River and organized by Parks and Recreation.
