The camp will run from 6-8:45 p.m. July 13-17 at Lion’s Park in Elk River. Registration is required at shinecbc.eventbrite.com or on the first day at the park.

Last year's Community Bible Camp attracted more than 500 participants.

Last year’s Community Bible Camp attracted more than 500 participants.

Last year the Bible camp attracted more than 500 children and adults. It’s geared for children who have turned 4 years old by June 1 through those who have completed fifth grade. This program is a five-day adventure where kids get to be creative, listen to great music, play games and hear about how they can be glory givers instead of glory getters.

The kids will be collecting coins to donate to a local organization called The Forgotten Initiative. This initiative will use the funds to fill journey bags for kids in foster care in the local area. For more information on The Forgotten Initiative, visit theforgotteninitiative.org.
