Lacrosse: ERZ ends regular season with 16-7 win at Anoka

Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman girls lacrosse beat Anoka 16-7 in its regular-season finale on Thursday evening, pushing above the .500 mark.

Michelle Klimstra led the attack with five goals at Anoka. Aliz Zierden added four, Alleah Balzer three, Raelyn Korinek two, and Alexandra Gallus and Katelyn Gfroerer one each. Cassie Conrad in goal stopped seven of 14 shots.

The Elks are 7-6 after winning four of their last five games. They played four straight evenings this week, winning three.

Section 8 playoffs will start Tuesday. The pairings will be determined Saturday.
