Lacrosse: Elk boys top Chaska 7-3, playoffs next

Elk River closed the boys lacrosse regular season with a 7-3 victory over Chaska at home on Thursday evening.

Alex Stull netted four goals, Marcus Stull two and Nick Rice one for the Elks. Freshman goalie Dawson Strauss allowed just three goals in his first varsity action, filling in for Robert Fenstrom, who was ill.

The team honored 12 seniors at half-time.

The Elks will take a 4-10 record into Section 8 starting Tuesday. The pairings will be determined Saturday.
