Lacrosse: Elk boys lose to Crimson 14-2

The Elk River Elks lost to Maple Grove 14-2 at home Monday evening. Coach Thomas Haugen said Maple Grove’s defense was “awesome — we could not get going on that side of the ball.” He said Elk goalie Robert Finseth had a very strong game against much pressure from the Crimson. “We really grew on the defensive side of the ball,” said Haugen. “Now we just need to keep working on the offensive side.”
