Lacrosse: ERZ girls start fast, beat Spring Lake Park 17-6

After scoring three goals in the first two minutes, Elk River-Rogers-Zimmerman kept the pressure on Spring Lake Park and beat the Panthers 17-6 on Friday evening.

ERZ (2-2) got four goals each from Alix Zierden, Michelle Klimstra and Alleah Balzer in the action at Salk Middle School.

Katelyn Gfroerer delivered three goals and two assists, and Jenna Hagglund and Mikayla Knutson added a goal each. Cassie Conrad was in goal for the win.

“We had a good game. We had awesome defense, and we were catching passes, moving the ball around, and attacking the net,” said coach Stephanie Anderson.

The Elks will play at Maple Grove on Monday.
