Softball: Sting post 2 wins, 2 losses in weekend

The Spectrum softball team beat Maranatha Christian 12-2 in six innings at home Friday. Elizabeth Hackbarth and Leah Dean were each 2-for-3 with two RBI and Meghan Schroeder pitched.
The Sting lost two of three games Saturday at the Nicollet tournament. St. Paul Como Park, which is unbeaten, beat the Sting 12-0. Elizabeth Hackbarth was 2-for-3 with a triple.
Nicollet beat the Sting 15-4. Ellie Rogers was 3-for-3.
The Sting finished the day with a 12-2 win over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, led by Hally Wallace, who was 3-for-3 with a double and two triples.
The Sting (4-3) will play at St. Croix Prep on Wednesday.
