Baseball: Sting lose first home game to St. Croix Prep 7-6

Spectrum’s first-ever baseball game on its new home field wound up being a 7-6 loss to St. Croix Prep on Tuesday. For the Sting (2-2), Connor Hansen was 2-for-3 with two runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Tristen Rosby was 2-for-4 with an RBI and pitched four innings, allowing four runs and striking out seven. Luke Nolden was 1-for-2 plus a walk and sac fly, driving home two runs. Ryan Pribnow took the loss in relief, allowing three runs (one earned) and striking out three. The Sting will host Maranatha Academy on Friday.
