The Zimmerman track team, responding to a 15-inch snowfall on Wednesday, had some fun with it on Thursday.
“We needed to find a creative way to remove snow from the track surface, in hopes of getting back out onto the track again sooner,” said coach Jennelle Lablanc. “So we decided to have a snow man-building contest and a largest snowball contest.”
The rules were simple, she said — the snow had be taken from the track, and snowmen had to be built off the track.
LeBlanc sent photos of 18 snowmen created by the tracksters. Above and below are a few of those, along with one photo that’s apparently boys trying to win the largest snowball contest.
