Tennis: Elks open with 7-0 win over Grand Rapids

The Elk River tennis team opened a 2014 campaign of high expectations with a 7-0 win over Grand Rapids on Saturday at Daytona Courts.

The Elks, state champions in 2012 and fourth place last year, bring back most of their lineup and anticipate being one of the top state contenders again.

The Elks will open conference at Andover on Tuesday.
