Activities for all ages include Community Education kids activities, Home Depot build-it workshop (ages 4-13), Sherburne County Area United Way Speed Volunteering, Friends of the Kelley Farm live animals and make-and-take activity, and RSVP BookEnds Readers Theater story time (12:30 p.m.). Cornerstone Auto Resource will be doing “Drive for UR Community” test drives. For each test drive, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the Community Aid Elk River food shelf.
The Elk River Lions will be there with barbecue beef sandwiches, potato salad, chili, hot dogs and other favorites. Dunn Bros Coffee will have specialty drinks and snacks in addition to their chicken wild rice soup. Caddyshack Bar and Grille will be serving up Juicy Lucy burgers.
This year, Spotlight Exhibitors will be giving away extra prizes. Each one will be giving away a $25 gift certificate. Kids will be able to visit them to get a stamp on their expo passport for a chance to win Nickelodeon Universe all-day wristbands and Moose Mountain mini golf passes.
