Elk River goalie Mac Berglove was among 12 seniors honored Sunday at the Mr. Hockey banquet at Xcel Energy Center. Berglove was one of two finalists for the Frank Brimsek Award as outstanding senior goalie. That award went to Hunter Sheppard of Grand Rapids. The Mr. Hockey award also went to a Grand Rapids player, Avery Peterson. “It was a great day. Mac was supported by teammates, coaches, family and friends,” said his mother, Patricia McLean, who sent this photo. The banquet was sponsored by the Minnesota Minutemen and the Minnesota Wild.
