Basketball: Rogers boys ousted by Buffalo 79-53

The Rogers Royals season ended with a 79-53 loss to the Buffalo Bison on Tuesday evening in the first round of Section 8AAAA at Buffalo.
The Bison (21-6) scored the last 19 points of the first half to turn a 23-21 lead into 42-21.
Collin Olscheid, 6-5 senior forward, scored 20 points in the first half, including three 3-pointers, and 28 in the game. Junior guard Jonathan Senger added 20 points. The Bison crushed the Royals on the boards, out-rebounding them 35-14.
Sophomore Allen Wilson notched 13 points, junior Gunnar Bloom 10 and junior Cole Murray nine for the Royals.
With three sophomores and five juniors among the 12 seeing action every game, Rogers finished 9-16, including three losses to Buffalo.
