Basketball: STMA boys overtake Rogers 70-63

St. Michael-Albertville hit a couple of 3-pointers during a late surge and overtook the Rogers Royals 70-63 on Tuesday evening in St. Michael.

Rogers led 59-55 before Jackson Greenwaldt hit a 3-pointer to start the Knights rally and Dallas Freeman sank another to help them pull away.

Trevor Rothstein scored 26 points and Greenwaldt 23 for the Knights (9-5-1 conference, 13-12-1 overall).

Cole Murray notched 19 points for the Royals (4-9-1 conference, 9-15-1 overall) and Lance Lendl was next with 13 points.

Rogers will play at St. Cloud Tech on Thursday evening.
