Rogers’ play enters one-act competition Saturday

The Rogers High School one-act play, “Booby Trap,” was previewed for the public on Wednesday evening at Elk River High School’s Zabee Theatre. The wartime soldiers’ drama is Rogers’ entry into MSHSL competition starting with the sub-section on Saturday at Osseo High School. Ryan Shaw has the lead role of Pete, a  soldier who sits on a land mine and reflects on his life while fellow soldiers try to help him. Directors are Gail Weber and Shane Noecker.
