The Zimmerman Thunder claimed their third straight win 59-41 over the Milaca Wolves on Thursday evening in Milaca.
Kaitlyn Mason, senior forward, scored a career-best 20 points to lead the win. Next was junior guard Maddie Jacob with 11 points off the bench, also a career-best for her. Season scoring leader Lexi Funaro had eight points.
It was choppy game with 44 fouls, 25 of them on the Thunder, coach Lance Dalbey noted.
“We were not nearly as clean as we were the last couple games,” said Dalbey.
Cami Bond and Jami Schuster added six points for the Thunder (6-2 conference, 11-6 overall).
The Thunder will play at North Branch on Saturday in a twin bill with the girls starting at noon and the boys at 2 p.m.
