Basketball: STMA girls repel Rogers 68-54

St. Michael-Albertville dominated the second half and turned back Rogers 68-54 on Monday evening, remaining unbeaten in the Mississippi 8.

Rogers, hoping for a win to stay close to the lead, led 26-21 before the Knights surged ahead 35-32 at half-time and pulled away in the second half.

Erin Autio led with 21 points and Lindsey Rederer was next with 16 for the Knights, now 4-0 in conference and 10-3 overall.

Lindsay Dorr laid in 19 points and Taylor Paulsrud 16 for Rogers (2-2 conference, 8-6 overall). Bailey Miller added nine.

Rogers will play at Big Lake on Tuesday.
