Basketball: Ortman leads Buffalo boys past Rogers 76-67

Sam Ortman scored 30 points as the Buffalo Bison remained unbeaten in conference, turning back the Roger Royals 76-67 on Tuesday evening.
Collin Olmscheid added 18 points for Buffalo, now 4-0 in the Mississippi 8 and 9-5 overall.
Buffalo had a 37-20 rebound edge, especially dominating the boards in the second half. The Bison made 15 of 20 free shots and pulled away at the line in the final minute.
Lance Lendl netted 13 points, Cole Murray 12 and Gunnar Bloom 10 for Rogers (1-2 conference, 5-8 overall).
Buffalo made seven 3-point shots, three by Ortman, while Rogers had six. Rogers was 11-for-16 at the line.
Rogers will host Princeton on Friday.
