Basketball: Buffalo tripls Rogers girls 67-57

The Rogers Royals dropped a game they expected to win Tuesday evening as the Buffalo Bison led all the way and beat them 67-57 in Buffalo.
“It was not a good game for us,” said Royal coach Karlee Anderson. “We fell behind right away and Buffalo just outworked us tonight. They did the little things and we didn’t. We got lazy on defense and they didn’t. We will take this loss and learn from it.”
Rogers (1-1 conference, 7-4 overall) had won four straight games impressively.
Hailey Sorenson scored  18 points and Anika Fredrick 15 for the Bison (1-1 conference, 7-5 overall).
Lindsay Dorr notched 15 points and 12 rebounds for Rogers, and Marina Nowak had 13 points and six rebounds.
Rogers will play at Princeton on Thursday.
