NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
The Elk River Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway, to consider a request by Tiller Corporation for a Conditional Use Permit for Mineral Excavation and Hot-Mix Asphalt Plant, Case No. CU 14-03.
The Elk River City Council will also conduct a public hearing concerning this matter Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway.
General description of the subject property is approximately 127 acres lying west of U.S. Highway 169 and south of 221st Avenue PID #s 75-103-3200; 75-103-2400, 75-104-4405, 75-104-1101, 75-104-1102, 75-110-2101 and 75-110-2202. Legal description of the subject property is:
That part of the NW 1/4 of Section 10, Twp. 33, Range 26 and the SW 1/4 of Section 3, except the N 525 ft. of said SW 1/4 of Section 3, lying W of U.S. Hwy 169, lying northerly of that part of centerline of 221st Ave as described in Doc No. 317983;
That part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 4, Twp. 33, Range 26 which lies Ely and southeasterly of southeasterly line of 200 ft. wide strip of land, and its northerly extension, its centerline as described; and which lies northerly of centerline of 221st Ave. as described in Doc No. 317893;
That part of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 4, Twp. 33, Range 26 lying E of Great Northern Railroad, except northerly 525 ft.
That part of the NW 1/4 of Section 10, Twp. 33, Range 26, described as: Commencing at the NW corner of said NW 1/4, thence S 89 degrees 58 minutes 24 seconds E (continued);
The N 1121.92 ft. of the NW 1/4 of the W 965.8 ft. lying W of U.S. Highway 169, of Section 10, Twp. 33, Range 26, all in Sherburne County, Minnesota. A complete legal description is available at Elk River City Hall.
